Vincenza Rabenn serves as Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Narcotics and Violent Crime Unit for the U.S. Attorney's Office, Eastern District of California. As the Opioid Coordinator for the District, she manages the office's criminal strategy for combating the deadly opioid epidemic in California. She specializes in the prosecution of cases involving synthetic narcotics and medical professionals. A veteran of the U.S. Attorney's Office since 2015, Rabenn has focused on stopping the illegal importation of methamphetamine, heroin, and fentanyl. She is a graduate of Georgetown University, and received her J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.
Anthony Guzman is a Special Agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration and is currently assigned to the DEA Oakland Resident Office Tactical Diversion Squad. This group investigates the diversion of pharmaceutical drugs from their normal distribution routes, as well cases that involve counterfeit pharmaceutical drugs. Special Agent Guzman has been with the Drug Enforcement Administration for 15 years. Special Agent Guzman has worked cases that have involved medical professionals prescribing outside the usual course of professional practice, cases involving street level distribution of prescriptions, and overdose death investigations.
